What Is The Full Form Of JEE? JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Exam. It’s performed for admission and selection in engineering colleges everywhere in the country. The JEE entrance exam takes place in 2 parts, one is JEE Main, and the other is JEE Advance. Joint Entrance Examination is a national degree exam for students to qualify to pursue an engineering degree at an undergraduate degree. JEE Main is a criterion for admission in India’s most prestigious and elite universities like the Indian Institute of Information Technology and the National Institute of Technology. The erstwhile AIEEE examination is replaced with the JEE Main exam, and erstwhile IIT JEE has become the JEE Advanced exam.

The candidates that Pass the JEE Main examination qualify for appearing at the JEE Advance Exam. JEE core exam is held twice annually in online mode.

JEE Eligibility:

Candidates who’ve passed 12 exams or appearing in this exam could appear in JEE Main temporarily. JEE Main is conducted for admission to the top NITs, IIITs, and some other universities. Paper 1 is for all those candidates who need entry into BE and B.Tech courses. Paper 2 is for all those that desire admission in B.Arch and B.Planning courses. Nevertheless, the candidates are required to specify for which paper they would like to appear either Paper 1 or Paper 2 or even both. JEE Advanced is a paper-based test. The candidates are required to appear in either the papers 1 & 2 in this exam.
