What Is The Full Form Of ITI? ITI stands for an industrial training institute. It is also known as ITI’s provide training in engineering and non-engineering fields. It’s A post-secondary school in India that is comprised under the Directorate General of Employment of Training, Ministry of Employment & Labour Union Government of India.

It provides training in a variety of trades like Electrical, mechanical, computer equipment, refrigeration, and air conditioning, carpentry, plumbing, welding, fitter, etc. These institutes are established to transmit technical knowledge to pupils who only passed 10th standard and wish to get some knowledge instead of pursuing the higher studies.   • The candidate’s age must be between 14 to forty years during the time of admission.
